The Directors, Management and staff would be delighted to welcome all passengers old and new, to the 2019 Wilfreda Group Reunion. Due to popular demand, the reunion is heading back to Blackpool, Britain’s most popular holiday destination. Let’s forget the donkeys, deck chairs, kiss me quick hats and dirty postcards (although you can still partake in all of these), there is plenty of fun for all in Blackpool, whatever your age! Enjoy fresh air, entertainment and plenty of heritage at a pace that suits you. Join old friends, make new friends and meet the Eagre and Wilfreda Beehive team.
Saturday We depart and travel to Blackpool.On arrival in Blackpool there will be free time to explore at your leisure. Blackpool, is Britain’s most popular holiday destination, which comes as no surprise when you think about this seaside resort’s huge range of year-round attractions. Blackpool, is a town synonymous with seaside sunshine along with thrills and adventure and has an abundance of rich culture and impressive heritage waiting to be discovered. Later this afternoon we will make the short journey to the Grand Hotel Blackpool. On arrival at the hotel we will be greeted by the hotel Management and enjoy a leisurely cup of tea/coffee. The remainder of the afternoon will be free to enjoy the leisure facilities available at the hotel and relax with a drink in the bar. Later this evening enjoy a drinks reception followed by dinner and live entertainment. As in 2018, passengers will be allocated a table in the function room and will be required to pre-order your evening meal.
Sunday Following a leisurely breakfast, we depart the hotel and make our way to the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom with included entrance and sumptuous afternoon tea. Step into the sensationally stylish Blackpool Tower Ballroom and prepare to be lost in a world of elegant charm and refined beauty. Dating back to 1894, The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is world famous for its unique sprung dance floor and spectacular architecture and remains to this day a destination for dance fans from across the globe. You can dance the day away to the sounds of the famous Wurlitzer organ amidst this stunning setting, or watch from the side lines. Whether you want to glide around the dance floor, relax at your table or spectate from up on the balconies, The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is an experience you will never forget. We depart later this afternoon and return to your original joining point.
