The Thriplow Daffodil Festival is a traditional fete-come flower festival that transforms the village of Thriplow into a sea of yellow daffodils.
Saturday We depart and travel to the historic cathedral city of St. Albans. The city’s colourful history can be seen in the Roman remains and the beautiful medieval architecture. The market is steeped in History with a special Royal Charter granted in 1553. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Redbourn and the Aubrey Park Hotel. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.
Sunday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to Thriplow Village for the annual Daffodil Festival. Here you will step back in time, walking in the beautiful traffic free lanes and connecting footpaths visiting residents ‘open gardens’, craft barns, marquees, stalls and demonstrations. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
