Friday We depart and travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire. Opened in 1853, this industrial village and textile mill takes its name from its founder, Sir Titus Salt, and the River Aire, which runs through it. Today, Salts Mill and the village are home to many independent shops. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Bingley and the Mercure Bradford Bankfield. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.
Saturday Today we travel to Skipton. Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Skipton is renowned for its Medieval Castle, colourful market and narrowboat cruises. Later this afternoon, we include a scenic journey through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, on-board the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway.
Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel to the pretty town of Keighley. We include a scenic journey through Bronte Country, on-board the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. There will be free time to enjoy Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters, and undisputed literary mecca. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
