Monday We travel to Llanberis.
Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Portmeirion. This unique village is set on its own private peninsula on the southern shores of Snowdonia, surrounded by 70 acres of sub-tropical woodland gardens.
Wednesday Today we enjoy a scenic drive through the Snowdonia National Park visiting the village of Betws-y-Coed and the charming town of Conwy. Situated at the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Betws-y-Coed is a delightful village, whilst there is much to enjoy in Conwy, including its impressive castle. Later this afternoon we continue to the ancient Royal town of Caernarfon, dominated by King Edward I’s impressive medieval fortress.
Thursday Enjoy an included journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Located a short walk from the hotel, our journey will travel from Llanberis to Clogwyn, ¾ of the way to the summit. The journey is operated by a diesel train and is subject to weather conditions.
Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.
