Saturday We depart and travel to Pickering where we board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Our scenic journey will pass through a variety of scenery including wooded valleys, heather clad moorland and picturesque villages, until we reach the seaside town of Whitby. We will enjoy a short visit to Whitby to enjoy its narrow streets and bustling harbour. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Middlesbrough and the Jurys Inn Middlesbrough. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.
Sunday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to historic York. The city is renowned for its exquisite architecture, Gothic cathedral and tangle of quaint cobbled streets. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
