Friday We depart and travel to historic Rochester, with its Norman castle and historic cathedral. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Ashford and the Ashford International Hotel. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.
Saturday Today we travel to Whitstable, a town which has been associated with oysters for hundreds of years. The Landing of the Oysters will signal the start of the festival followed by The Oyster Parade, as the Lord Mayor and the oyster Cart echo history, as they lead the way in symbolically delivering the mighty mollusc to restaurants and hostelries. You will be able to indulge in fresh seafood, enjoy the entertainment, visit the working harbour and explore the independent shops and galleries. Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Sunday We depart after breakfast and enjoy a visit to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Once one of medieval Europe’s great places of pilgrimages, explore the cobbled streets and hidden gems of this world-famous cathedral city. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
