Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Liverpool. There will be free time to explore the city, before arriving at the Leonardo Hotel Liverpool. With its unique attractions, exciting events, world class sport offerings, unrivalled musical heritage and famously warm welcomes, Liverpool is the ideal destination to visit and explore for the weekend. With the largest collection of museums and galleries anywhere outside of the Capital, Liverpool’s culture and heritage are at the very heart of the city. Whilst, shoppers are spoilt for choice, with Liverpool ONE in the heart of the city, an open air shopping district. Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2. Saturday Today we enjoy a free day to explore Liverpool at your own pace. Liverpool is a thriving capital of culture with museums, galleries and attractions for every taste, many of which are free to explore. National Museums Liverpool operates seven museums and galleries including the Museum of Liverpool, which is the world’s first national museum devoted to the history of a regional city. Whilst at Royal Liver Building 360 you can enter Liverpool’s most iconic building and see inside the clock tower, housing clock faces larger than those of Big Ben. Or why not hop onto a city sightseeing tour bus for the ultimate tour of the city.
Day 3. Sunday Enjoy additional time in Liverpool. Liverpool’s waterfront is a great place to visit with a whole host of things to do in a breathtaking and iconic setting. Diverse in its appeal the waterfront offers everything from a sing-along in the award-winning The Beatles Story to a quiet riverside stroll. Why not get out onto the water and enjoy Liverpool’s ultimate sightseeing experience, onboard a Mersey Ferries River Explore Cruise and learn more about the fascinating history of the River Mersey, and see incredible views of Liverpool’s world famous waterfront and buildings. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
