Day 1. Wednesday: We depart and travel to either Hull or Newcastle for the overnight ferry crossing to Holland with dinner and breakfast included on-board. All standard inside cabins will be bunk-beds. Cabin upgrades with low-beds available on request.
Day 2. Thursday: On arrival, our adventure will continue, as we travel to our overnight hotel for one night, dinner, bed & breakfast (minimum 3-star standard).
Day 3. Friday: This morning, we continue our journey to Klosters, Switzerland for Six nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Silvretta Park Hotel.
Day 4. Saturday: Enjoy a day at leisure in Klosters, a charming chalet-style village nestled in the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by majestic mountains and lush forests, this picturesque village offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. You can take a leisurely walk through the village’s quaint streets, visit local shops, or relax at one of the cozy cafes. For those seeking adventure, there are numerous hiking and biking trails with stunning alpine views, or you can simply unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Whether you prefer relaxation or exploration, Klosters offers something for everyone in this idyllic alpine setting.
Day 5. Sunday: Today we travel to Chur, the oldest town in Switzerland, rich in history and charming medieval architecture. After exploring the town’s cobblestone streets and ancient landmarks, we embark on a scenic 1-hour journey on the Arosa Line, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque railway routes. As the train winds its way through the stunning Swiss Alps, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of alpine meadows, deep valleys, and dramatic mountain peaks. This scenic train ride offers a unique perspective of Switzerland's natural beauty, making it a memorable highlight of the day.
Day 6. Monday: Today we enjoy a visit to St. Moritz, a world-renowned resort town nestled in the Swiss Alps. Twice host of the Winter Olympics, St. Moritz first became famous thanks to its mineral springs, attracting visitors seeking health and relaxation since the 19th century. Beyond its luxurious spas and wellness facilities, St. Moritz offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains and crystal-clear lakes. Whether you choose to explore the town’s upscale boutiques, enjoy a lakeside stroll, or take in the magnificent alpine scenery, St. Moritz is a destination that blends natural beauty, history, and modern luxury.
Day 7. Tuesday: Enjoy an unforgettable journey on the Bernina Express, one of the most scenic train routes in the world. Our journey will begin as we travel by local train from Klosters via Davos to Filisur, where we board the Bernina Express. As we ascend into the Swiss Alps, the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and charming villages will take your breath away. Continuing on to Tirano, Italy, the train winds through dramatic landscapes, offering an unparalleled experience of natural beauty and engineering marvels. After a leisurely exploration of Tirano, we return to the hotel by coach, reflecting on the stunning vistas we’ve experienced throughout the day.
Day 8. Wednesday: Enjoy a visit to Davos, a charming Alpine town known for its stunning mountain views and vibrant atmosphere. We’ll take an included journey on the funicular railway to the Schatzalp, a beautiful historic resort perched high above the town. From the top, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, as well as the lush greenery of the Schatzalp's botanical gardens. Whether you choose to take a leisurely walk through the gardens or simply relax and soak in the scenery, this experience offers a perfect blend of nature and tranquility.
Day 9. Thursday: We depart Klosters and begin our return journey home travelling through Switzerland and into Germany and our overnight hotel for one night dinner, bed & breakfast (minimum 3-star standard).
Day 10. Friday: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast this morning, before our return home continues. Later this afternoon we make our way to the ferry port for the return overnight crossing with dinner and breakfast included on-board. All standard inside cabins will be bunk-beds. Cabin upgrades with low-beds available on request.
Day 11. Saturday: We depart the ferry after breakfast and begin our return journey home.
Passports: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport and any required visa(s) for your chosen holiday. Some countries require a minimum of 6 months’ validity on a passport from your return date.
