Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Aberfoyle.

Day 2. Tuesday Today we enjoy a cruise on the Firth of Forth. The 90-minute scenic cruise will take in the spectacular views of the Three Bridges, the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and the Kingdom of Fife to the north. Later this afternoon we include a guided tour of Holyrood Distillery. Established in 2019 in the centre of Edinburgh’s historic old town, Holyrood Distillery prides itself on its innovative approach to distilling, inspired by Edinburgh’s rich brewing history.

Day 3. Wednesday Enjoy a day travelling through the glorious Trossachs, as we head to Loch Katrine for an included cruise. The 45-minute cruise departs from Trossachs Pier and takes you on an awe-inspiring journey, as you glide past stunning Trossachs landmarks. We continue to Scotland’s oldest distillery, Glenturret. Situated on the banks of the River Turret in the beautiful town of Crieff. Our visit till include a 1-hour guided tour, which will take you through the traditional art of making the single malt whisky which uses hand operated, time-honoured methods. The guides will also bring to life the history and heritage of one of Scotland's most iconic whisky brands.

Day 4. Thursday Today we enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond. The one-hour circular tour of Loch Lomond's South basin enjoys views of the magnificent Ben Lomond and passes several of Loch Lomond's stately homes and castles along the shoreline. We will enjoy some free time at Lomond Shores, home to shops, restaurants, and the Sea Life Aquarium, before making our way to the Glengoyne Distillery. Often described as Scotland's most beautiful distillery, we will include a 45-minute guided tour, which will show you how hard they work to create the bold flavours in the whisky.

Day 5. Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.

Rob Roy Hotel

Named after the legendary local folk hero Rob Roy McGregor, the Rob Roy Hotel is situated in an idyllic countryside setting at the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and is set within Scotland’s first National Park.
