Spanning five counties - Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, and Worcestershire - the Cotswolds is a patchwork of pastoral beauty, picturesque villages, and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Whether it's a quiet afternoon in a cosy tearoom or a walk through meadows that seem untouched by time, the Cotswolds offers an idyllic escape into the heart of England.

Itinerary

Day 1. Friday We depart and enjoy a scenic drive through The Cotswolds. The Cotswolds covers a huge area – almost 800 square miles – and runs through five counties. One of the delights of visiting the Cotswolds is exploring the different areas, each with its own identity, yet all with those defining Cotswold features: golden stone and rolling hills. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Swindon and the Leonardo Hotel Swindon. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.

Day 2. Saturday Today we enjoy a visit to Bath. The golden city of Bath has been welcoming visitors for over 2,000 years. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe including the Royal Crescent, majestic Abbey and Georgian terraces. At the heart of the city next to Bath Abbey is the Roman Baths, which gives a fascinating insight into the bathing complex and great Roman Temple of Sulis Minerva.

Day 3. Sunday Following breakfast, we travel home via Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires. Steeped in a rich and fascinating history, Oxford is famous for its prestigious university and is home to 38 colleges where many notable scholars have emerged. Its charming scenery has been the inspiration for many. Visit the hallowed halls of the university and follow in the footsteps of Prime Ministers, poets and the one and only Harry Potter. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
