Day 1. We depart for the journey to Edinburgh. This evening enjoy a 3-course evening meal with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink included. Relax in the hotel bar or why not catch a show at the Edinburgh Playhouse located next door to the hotel.
Day 2. (Christmas Eve) Following breakfast, today is free to explore Edinburgh at your own pace and to pick up some last minute gifts. There are plenty of exciting things to do in Edinburgh, from stunning architecture and endless winding streets to an awe-inspiring castle perched on a dormant volcano. By day you can admire stunning artworks in galleries and treasured wonders in museums, and by night you can enjoy theatre performances, or find your favourite dram in a charming pub. This evening enjoy a 3-course evening meal with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink included. After dinner, take a leisurely stroll through the beautifully lit streets, soaking in the festive atmosphere of Scotland’s vibrant capital.
Day 3. (Christmas Day) Take your time opening your presents this morning and enjoy a relaxing breakfast and time at leisure. Enjoy a traditional Christmas Day lunch with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink included. The remainder of the afternoon is free. Later this evening if you still have space, enjoy an entrée with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink included. End your day by unwinding with a cosy nightcap, reflecting on the joy and warmth of a perfect Christmas.
Day 4. (Boxing Day) Following breakfast, today is free to explore Edinburgh. There will be free time to take in the medieval atmosphere of the Royal Mile, to explore Princes Street – a true paradise for shopaholics. There aren’t many cities in the world where the foremost shopping thoroughfare boasts an uninterrupted view of an ancient castle, but Edinburgh’s Princes Street does just that! Its uniqueness is that shops line only one side of the street, leaving the opposite side a lush and verdant green space giving shoppers spectacular breathtaking views of the Old Town cityscape. This evening enjoy a 3-course evening meal with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink included.
Day 5. We depart and return home.
