Step onto authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Discover the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall and explore the Forbidden Forest, all before boarding the original Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾ and wandering down Diagon Alley. Located at the Studios where all eight films were produced, the Studio Tour showcases the British talent, imagination and artistry that went into making the impossible a reality on screen. Visitors will relive the magic through the eyes of the filmmakers who brought the Harry Potter film series to life.

Itinerary

Day 1. We depart and travel to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. The walking tour provides an amazing opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films. This unique tour takes you behind-the-scenes and showcases a huge array of beautiful sets and costumes. It will also reveal some closely guarded secrets. You will be able to see some of the films' most memorable and most recognisable sets, including the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, and Hagrid's hut. Also discover how state-of-the-art special effects brought the stories to life and meet some of your favourite characters, like Aragog the giant spider. We depart this evening for the journey to Reading and the Hilton Reading. Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2. We depart after breakfast and visit Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of His Majesty The King. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today.  Established in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, it has been remodelled by successive kings and queens, including Edward III, Charles II and George IV. Today the Castle is used regularly for ceremonial and State occasions and has been the home of 40 monarchs. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

Important Information: Please be aware that St. Georges Chapel at Windsor Castle will be closed to visitors on a Sunday.

Hilton Reading

The Hilton Reading is a modern hotel ideally located for visiting Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and Windsor Castle. All bedrooms are en-suite with television, telephone, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a bar and restaurant. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool. Lift to all floors.
