Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Birmingham for the world-famous Frankfurt Christmas Market. The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts, and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to West Bromwich and the Mercure Birmingham West. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday Following a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the Black Country Living Museum. Step back in time and experience the festive seasons of yesteryear, with crackling fires, and heart-warming traditions at Black Country Living Museum this Christmas. From traditional treats and vintage decorations to the sound of period music echoing through the warm and inviting streets, every corner of our historic village is brimming with festive cheer. Whether you’re hunting for Santa, sipping mulled wine, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
