Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Norwich.

Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Norwich. Like any great city, its centre is easy to walk around and has a river at its heart. It is the only English city in a National Park, the Norfolk Broads. As well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK, it has superb independent and High Street shopping. It was also England's first UNESCO City of Literature. Later this afternoon we enjoy a visit to Wroxham and enjoy a cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads and explore Britain’s magical waterland.

Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a day visiting the picturesque North Norfolk coast and the bustling seaside town of Cromer. Perched on the very edge of the north Norfolk coast, Cromer is famous for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches, a traditional pier complete with a theatre providing seaside special variety shows and is awash with small local independent shops. As you would expect of a seaside town rich in its fishing heritage, it has a lighthouse and a proud tradition of RNLI service.

Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day visiting the Holkham Hall Estate. Holkham is a special place where a stunning coastal landscape meets one of England’s great agricultural estates. At the heart of this thriving 25,000 acre estate on the north Norfolk coast, stands Holkham Hall, an elegant 18th century Palladian style house. You will be able to discover fabulous collections in Holkham Hall, step into a hive of horticulture in the six acre Walled Garden, and delve into its past and present in the Holkham Stories Experience.

Day 5. Friday We depart and return home via the Sandringham Estate, the much-loved country retreat to Their Majesties The King Charles III and The Queen Consort. Close to King’s Lynn in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the house, gardens, and St Mary Magdalene Church are all open to visit. Discover the fascinating history of the house and explore 24 hectares of formal gardens with a variety of trees, water gardens and wildflowers. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
