Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel directly to the Preston International Hotel. We enjoy an early evening meal, before we make our way to Blackpool for a scenic drive through the Blackpool Illuminations. The illuminations have been part of British life since 1879 and is said to be ‘the greatest free show on earth’. Our scenic drive will pass through six miles of glittering lights all along the seafront with new additions to the displays each year. We will return to our hotel later this evening.
Day 2. Sunday Following breakfast, we return to Blackpool for time at leisure. Thrill-seekers can enjoy the thrills and spills of the white-knuckle rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, or why not visit the world-famous Blackpool Tower, one of the most loved and recognisable landmarks in the world and home to the famous Tower Ballroom, The Tower Circus, The Blackpool Tower Dungeons, The Blackpool Tower Circus and The Blackpool Tower Eye. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
