Itinerary

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Oswaldtwistle Mills for free time and a guided tour of Pendle Witch Country. There will be free time to enjoy lunch and shopping at Oswaldtwistle Mills, before reboarding the coach for a guided tour. You will meander through the stunning Lancashire countryside around Pendle Hill, which has changed little since the time of the trial and you will hear the devilish deeds and wicked acts which led to ten alleged witches being executed in Lancaster in 1612. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Blackburn and the Hampton by Hilton Blackburn. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.

Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel into the Lake District, England's largest National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site for an included cruise and time at leisure. Our scenic cruise will depart from the picturesque town of Ambleside, and travel to Bowness on Windermere. On arrival at Bowness on Windermere there will be free time to explore. Situated on the shores of Lake Windermere this dynamic town boasts hundreds of shops, eating and drinking establishments and many fine cultural and historical attractions including The World of Beatrix Potter. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
