Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to the Mercure Birmingham West and enjoy an early evening meal. We depart the hotel early evening and make our way to the Resorts World Arena, Birmingham and take our seats. The King of Waltz will be returning with his 60-member Johann Strauss Orchestra and many international soloists to dazzle the audience with a spectacular and memorable concert celebrating 200 years of Johann Strauss. With over 40 million albums sold, more than 500 platinum awards, nearly 10 million Facebook followers, billions of views on YouTube and more than half a million spectators worldwide annually, the charismatic Dutch violinist is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished live acts in the world. The coach will return to the hotel on completion of the show.
ALL passengers must be able to manage a minimum of 37 - 39 stairs, to access the arena.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel into Birmingham for time at leisure. As Britain’s second largest city, Birmingham is an industrial hub with a vibrant, creative heart. There is a whole host of quirky adventures waiting to be discovered in the city. The city is a shopper’s paradise. Whether you are after head-turning chic or eye-catching value, it is all here. It is home to the famous Bullring & Grand Central, the luxurious Mailbox and the world-famous home of British bling - the Jewellery Quarter. From Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and the beautiful arcades, the shops in Birmingham offer you everything you could ever want in an attractive and compact space with plenty of great café bars and restaurants to keep you going. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
