Itinerary

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to the Mercure Birmingham West and enjoy an early evening meal. We depart the hotel early evening and make our way to bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham, and take our seats. The King of Waltz will be returning with his 60-member Johann Strauss Orchestra and many renowned international soloists to dazzle the audience with a spectacular and memorable concert celebrating 200 years of Johann Strauss. With over 40 million albums sold, more than 500 platinum awards, nearly 10 million Facebook followers, billions of views on YouTube, and more than half a million spectators worldwide annually, the charismatic Dutch violinist is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished and beloved live acts in the world. The coach will return to the hotel on completion of the show.

ALL passengers must be able to manage a minimum of 41 - 49 stairs, to access the arena and seats.

Day 2. Sunday After breakfast, we journey to the picturesque town of Stratford-upon-Avon for some free time to explore at your leisure. Nestled along the banks of the River Avon, this enchanting Tudor town is world-famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Rich in history and overflowing with character, it delights visitors with its romantic timber-framed buildings, quaint streets, inviting green spaces, and lively market atmosphere. At the heart of it all lies Shakespeare’s Birthplace – the star attraction where you can walk in the footsteps of the legendary playwright and imagine life in Elizabethan England (entrance not included). Soak up the charm, browse local shops, discover hidden gems, or enjoy a riverside stroll before we depart later this afternoon to begin our journey home.

The Mercure Birmingham West offers a comfortable and convenient base, perfectly located for visits to the National Exhibition Centre, bp pulse LIVE, and just a short drive from the vibrant heart of Birmingham.
