Day 1. Friday We depart and visit Savill Gardens. Recognised as one of the finest woodland gardens in the country, Savill Garden is a hidden gem in the heart of Windsor Great Park. Commissioned by King George V, the garden was created in 1932 by Eric Savill and, under the careful guidance of the Keeper of the Gardens and a dedicated team of horticulturists, it flourished into a stunning botanical attraction. You can wander its peaceful paths, and admire its wide variety of flowers and plants. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Shepperton and the Holiday Inn London Shepperton. This evening, enjoy a delicious three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Saturday Today we enjoy a visit to Hampton Court Palace and the Tulips Festival. Be astonished as over 100,000 tulip bulbs erupt in colour in one of the UK’s biggest displays of planted tulips. Celebrate the start of spring, as the tulips emerge to herald warmer days to come. Relax in 60 acres of colourful royal gardens as you immerse yourself in Henry VIII’s famous grounds. Stroll through the courtyards and admire the blooming display pouring out of the Tudor wine fountain, wander through the gardens to see the floating tulip vases, and see rare, historic and specialist varieties inspired by Mary II's famous 17th century collection.
Day 3. Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel home via the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. Now a World Heritage Site, Kew is home to the world’s largest Victorian glasshouse and the most diverse collection of living plants, with over 40,000 different species. You will be able to explore more than 130 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens, stroll along a treetop walkway, and wander through tropical glasshouses at one of the world's most famous gardens.
