Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Waddesdon Manor with included entrance. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Oxford and the Courtyard by Marriott Oxford South. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Saturday Today we enjoy a visit to Blenheim Palace, as it is magically transformed for the festive season. The Palace will be themed, and you will be able to enjoy festive decorations and music. Outside the Christmas Market will take place in the Great Court. Home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting a long and diverse history. A masterpiece of Baroque architecture, landscaped parkland and stunning formal gardens, Blenheim Palace provides an awe-inspiring experience for visitors.
Day 3. Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel to Oxford. Home to scholars for more than 800 years, Oxford is home to Britain’s oldest university and has a wealth of attractions. Explore culture, Egyptian mummies and contemporary art at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, delve into the past at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and the Pitt Rivers Museum, or step back in history among the Norman ruins of Oxford Castle. Admire the architecture of the City of Spires and wander beneath the Bridge of Sighs. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
