Day 1. Sunday We depart and travel to Painswick Rococo Gardens. Painswick Rococo Garden is a beautiful place to escape, explore and imagine. It was designed in the 1740s as an English country gentleman's pleasure garden, a place for holding intimate garden parties. Laid out in a hidden valley around Painswick House, the garden is now the country's only complete surviving rococo garden. Since 1984, the garden has been rescued from ruin and transformed into a stunning pleasure garden. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Cheltenham and the Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Monday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to Highgrove Gardens. Highgrove Gardens are part of the private residence of TRHs The King Charles III and The Queen Consort. Located near the town of Tetbury, discover the striking development of the gardens and the important sustainable principles instilled over the past 38 years. A tour of the organic gardens offers a wealth of knowledge, beautiful scents, and harmonious sounds. On completion of the garden tour, we include a 2-course set lunch in the Orchard Room Restaurant. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home, filled with memories of a special weekend.
The two-course set lunch at Highgrove will include the following (menu subject to change).
A glass of house wine or soft drink alternative.
Chicken Chasseur with a tomato, mushroom, tarragon, and white wine sauce. Served on braised rice.
Assiette Dessert Plate.
Prince of Wales Tea or Freshly Brewed Filter Coffee.
