Duxford, Battle of Britain Air Show

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to the historic Bletchley Park. Once Britain’s best-kept secret, today Bletchley Park, home of the codebreakers, is a heritage site and vibrant tourist attraction. Step back in time and discover the stories and the extraordinary achievements of the men and women who worked there. There is an array of activities to enjoy, from the buildings, machines, life at Bletchley Park, and so much more. After exploring, we depart later this afternoon for the journey to Milton Keynes and the Delta by Marriott Milton Keynes Hotel. This evening, enjoy a three-course evening meal. A perfect end to a day filled with history and discovery.

Day 2. Sunday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to the Imperial War Museum Duxford for the Duxford, Battle of Britain Air Show. Taking place at the former RAF site, step back into summer 1940 at the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show and see historic Duxford come to life. In the air, on the ground, and even in the clothes you wear! Presented by Imperial War Museums, discover the sights, sounds and noises of Spitfires, Hurricanes and more in flight plus music and dance from the era, living history and family activities. Your ticket will also include entry to the hangers and exhibitions. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

The Delta Hotel by Marriott Milton Keynes is a modern hotel, 4-miles from the city centre and is ideally located for visiting Bletchley Park and the Imperial War Museum Duxford. All non-smoking bedrooms are en-suite with television, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a restaurant and lounge bar. There is also a small gym with cardio equipment. Lift to all floors. Limited ground floor bedrooms.
