Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires. Steeped in a rich and fascinating history, Oxford is famous for its prestigious university and is home to 38 colleges where many notable scholars have emerged. Its charming scenery has been the inspiration for many. Visit the hallowed halls of the university and follow in the footsteps of Prime Ministers, poets and the one and only Harry Potter. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Reading and the Hilton Reading. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Saturday Following an early breakfast, we include entrance to the Royal International Air Tattoo. RAF Fairford will be buzzing with thousands of excited visitors and the Cotswolds will echo once again with the thrilling sights and sounds of several hundred aircraft of all shapes and sizes, from all eras and countries of the world, gathering for this unique adrenalin-fuelled occasion. During the thrilling flying display visitors will get to see fast jets, giant transporters, historic aircraft, and much, much more. There will be a chance to meet the crews, get close to the aircraft and enjoy a feast of first-class entertainment.
Day 3. Sunday Following breakfast, we travel home via Henley-on-Thames for time at leisure. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside, Henley-on-Thames is a charming town that offers a unique blend of natural beauty, historic significance, and cultural richness. Whether you’re a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a relaxing getaway, Henley-on-Thames has something to offer everyone. The Henley Royal Regatta takes place early July and is the most famous in the world. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
