Good Food Show Winter

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Birmingham for the Frankfurt Christmas Market. The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional good and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to West Bromwich and the Mercure Birmingham West. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.

Day 2. Sunday Following a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the NEC and BBC Good Food Show Winter. Step into a winter wonderland of culinary delights this November at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Be inspired by the line-up of chefs and experts, learn new skills for Christmas and shop for ingredients and gifts. Prepare for the ultimate shopping experience, all under one roof with hundreds of artisan producers', brimming with unique gifts, festive decorations, and foodie delights, perfect for your Christmas shopping list. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

The Mercure Birmingham West is ideally situated for visiting BBC Good Food Show Winter and is a short drive from the centre of cosmopolitan Birmingham, home to the Frankfurt Christmas Market. All bedrooms are en-suite with television, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a lounge bar and restaurant. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym. Lift to all floors. Limited ground floor bedrooms.
