Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of His Majesty The King. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. This festive season, the Castle will be transformed inside and out, as the visitor route is decorated for Christmas. The highlight of the decorations include a 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir tree in St George's Hall, taken from Windsor Great Park and dressed with thousands of twinkling lights. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Shepperton and the Holiday Inn London Shepperton. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and visit the Hampton Court Palace Festive Fayre. The Festive Fayre is a festive food lover’s wonderland, full of artisan food and drink and seasonal cookery demonstrations. Eat, drink and be merry, all whilst soaking up the atmosphere and spirit of the season. Live music and horse-drawn cart rides add to the magical atmosphere, making it the perfect festive day out for everyone. Entrance is also included to Hampton Court Palace an awe-inspiring and flamboyant showcase of kingship. It’s vast, endless vistas, courtyards, gardens, and parkland, along with its magnificent State Apartments rival the great palaces of Europe. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
