Day 1. Friday: We depart for the port of Holyhead and our crossing to Dublin. On arrival we continue to the outskirts of Dublin for three nights, bed, and breakfast at the Talbot Stillorgan Hotel. The remainder of the evening is free for you to relax in the hotel with an included evening meal this evening.
Day 2. Saturday: Today we enjoy a guided tour of Dublin with included entrance to the Guinness Storehouse. Our guide will introduce you to Dublin and all it has to offer. It is a remarkable medieval city, with a long and colourful past and has lots to explore. On completion of the guided tour, there will be free time to explore the city before we make our way to the Guinness Storehouse to experience the history of one of Ireland’s most famous beers. You will be able to explore seven floors, which was once the fermentation plant of the brewery and discover more about the ingredients and history of Guinness. Your visit will be completed with a visit to Gravity Bar one of Dublin's highest vantage points, where you can take in the stunning 360-degree views of Dublin. In the afternoon the coach will return from Dublin to the hotel at 17:00. This evening, we offer a coach shuttle to Dublin leaving the hotel at 18:00 and returning at 23:00. Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3. Sunday: A free day today, to explore Dublin at your leisure. The city is home to many interesting museums and art galleries. The National Gallery of Ireland is one of the country’s most popular visitor attractions and houses the nation’s collection of European and Irish art. Whilst The Irish Emigration Museum details the movement of millions of Irish people who left their homes in search of opportunity, family and a better life. You can uncover the hidden gems of Ireland’s oldest university with a visit to Trinity College. It is one of Dublin’s most popular attractions, due to its history and stunning architecture and is home to the Book of Kells, one of Ireland's greatest cultural treasures. Or why not head to Dublin Zoo Ireland’s most popular family attraction. Opened in 1831, it is one of the world’s oldest zoos and home to some 400+ animals on 70 acres. The remainder of the evening is free for you to relax in the hotel with an included evening meal this evening.
Day 4. Monday: An early departure as we travel to Dublin Port. A full breakfast is included on-board the ferry. We continue our journey home.
Passports: British or Irish citizens travelling on the Irish Sea routes do not need a passport to travel to Britain or Ireland but must have Photographic Identification. Useful means of identification when travelling on this route are passport, driving licence and a bus pass.
Travel Insurance: All passengers must be in possession of fully comprehensive travel insurance.
