Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Liverpool. There will be free time to explore the city, before we include entrance to the award-winning The Beatles Story. Located in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool on the stunning Royal Albert Dock, The Beatles Story is Liverpool’s leading Beatles’ attraction taking visitors on a unique immersive journey through the lives, times, culture and music of the world’s greatest band. Find out more about Liverpool’s famous sons by joining The Beatles on their journey; first conquering Liverpool, and then the world, through recreations of key locations from the band’s career including The Casbah Club, The Cavern Club, and Abbey Road Studios. We depart later this afternoon for the short journey to Haydock and the Mercure Haydock. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and return to Liverpool and step aboard the colourful Magical Mystery Tour bus for a fun and fascinating 2 hour tour of Beatles Liverpool. Whilst on the tour you will see all the places associated with John, Paul, George and Ringo as they grew up, met and formed the band that would take the pop world by storm. See the Beatles childhood homes, schools and colleges and get up close to places that inspired some of their most memorable songs – Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. You will be kept entertained along the way by a professional Beatles Guide and some Fab Four tunes. The tour will finish at Mathew Street, home of The Cavern and steeped in Beatles heritage. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
