Wrest Park & Woburn Safari Park

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Wrest Park. Explore the evolution of the English garden with a stroll through three centuries of landscape design at Wrest Park. From dazzling parterres and fragrant borders, to sweeping views and woodland walks, Wrest Park is a real treat for the senses. The grounds were developed by the aristocratic de Grey family and bear the imprint of Capability Brown and are enhanced with charming architecture, statues, woodland, lakes and unexpected vistas. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Milton Keynes and the Delta Hotel by Marriott Milton Keynes. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.

Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel to Woburn Safari Park. We will start our adventure with a drive through sweeping parkland reserves, where you'll see wild animals with the freedom to roam in acres of beautiful countryside. The route finishes up in the foot safari where you can walk around and visit smaller mammals and watch fascinating keeper talks and demonstrations. The safari park offers an escape to the wild plains, jungles and savannahs of Africa. Teeming with amazing wildlife, your journey will bring you close to a huge number of endangered and exotic animals. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

The Delta by Marriott Milton Keynes is a modern hotel, 4-miles from the city centre and is ideally located for visiting the Wrest Park and 90 acres of beautiful gardens and Woburn Safari Park. All non-smoking bedrooms are en-suite with television, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a restaurant and lounge bar. There is also a small gym with cardio equipment. Lift to all floors. Limited ground floor bedrooms.
