Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of His Majesty The King. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. This festive season, the Castle will be transformed inside and out, as the visitor route is decorated for Christmas. The display includes a magnificent centrepiece, the 6 metre (20-foot) high tree in St George's Hall. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Reading and the Crowne Plaza Reading East. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and return to Windsor were we will enjoy a festive afternoon tea cruise. Boarding at Windsor Promenade for this intimate tearoom experience you will cruise downstream to see the most famous view of Windsor Castle from the river and on through Romney Lock passing the “back garden” of Windsor Castle. Enjoy views from the upper deck before moving to the comfortable saloon, where you are served your festive afternoon tea. There will be additional free time in Windsor to find the pefect Christmas gift. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
