Explore the highlights of Lancashire and uncover its local heritage including Gawthorpe Hall, known as the ‘Downton of the North’. We also include a cruise on the Lancaster Canal and journey on the East Lancashire Railway, through scenic Lancastrian landscapes.

Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Blackburn.

Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include a guided tour of Samlesbury Hall, and guided tour of Pendle Witch Country.

Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Bury Market & journey on the East Lancashire Railway.

Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day visiting Gawthorpe Hall and cruise on the Lancaster canal.

Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
