Day 1. We travel to the Isle of Wight via Red Funnel Ferries (Southampton to East Cowes). Dinner included this evening followed by fantastic entertainment.
Day 2. Today we enjoy a visit to Newport. Newport is the principal town of the Isle of Wight, which is in the centre of the Island and often referred to as its capital. This historic town centres on two elegant squares with Georgian and Victorian architecture surrounding them, with the town’s quay a short distance away. We return to the hotel later this afternoon. Dinner included this evening followed by entertainment.
Day 3. Following breakfast, we included a scenic drive around the island. Situated just off England’s South coast the Isle of Wight measures 23 miles by 13 miles and is littered with picturesque villages, bustling towns, and historic delights. With unspoilt, spectacular scenery and a rich historical heritage, there are attractions and activities to suit visitors of all ages. Dinner included this evening followed by entertainment. We return to the hotel later this afternoon and prepare for tonight’s New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and entertainment.
Day 4. Following breakfast, we will enjoy a day at leisure to explore Sandown or relax in the hotel. Dinner included this evening followed by fantastic entertainment.
Day 5. We depart after breakfast, returning home via Red Funnel Ferries (East Cowes to Southampton).
